WHAT WE DO

Each academic year a new team of enthusiastic students continues the development of the CleanMobility projects.

With these vehicles they participate in student competitions which focus on energy efficiency.

Solar boat SOLAR

Solar boat SOLAR is a boat powered by the sun. It holds solar panels which generate electricity. This is then used to power its systems.

The project Solar boat SOLAR started in academic year 2011/2012. With this project students yearly participate in the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge. To challenge themselves and their solar boat SOLAR they sail from the Netherlands to the competition in Monaco.

Hydrogen car H2A

Hydrogen car H2A is a car powered by hydrogen. It holds a pack of supercapacitors which are continuously charged by a fuel cell system.

The project Hydrogen car H2A started in academic year 2010/2011. With this project students yearly participate in the Prototype division of the Shell Eco-marathon Europe.

Autonomous car EVA

Autonomous Battery Electric car EVA is a car powered by a battery pack. It is equipped with location determining sensors.

The project Autonomous Battery Electric car EVA started in academic year 2013/2014. With this project students yearly participate in the (Autonomous) Urban Concept division of the Shell Eco-marathon Europe.

Head wind car SPIRIT

Headwind car SPIRIT is a car powered by wind energy. Giant rotor blades and a chain transmission drive the car forward.
